Our commitment
Nurture & Bloom Therapy is committed to providing a safe, ethical, and high-quality service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, we want to hear from you so we can put things right.
How to raise a concern
In the first instance, please contact Rachel Mackinder directly by email at hello@nurtureandbloomtherapy.co.uk, outlining your concern as clearly as possible. We will acknowledge your email within 5 working days and aim to respond fully within 28 days.
We will always try to resolve concerns informally in the first instance, and we take all feedback seriously.
If you remain unsatisfied
If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction through the above process, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the professional body with which Rachel Mackinder is accredited.
The BABCP has a formal complaints procedure which is independent of the therapist. Details can be found at: www.babcp.com
You may also contact the IPTUK if your complaint relates to IPT practice. Details at: www.iptuk.net
Record keeping
All complaints and their outcomes are recorded confidentially and used to inform ongoing practice improvement.
Your rights
Raising a complaint will not affect your right to continue therapy or affect the quality of care you receive in any way.
