You Don't Have to Keep Pretending You're Fine
If you've been telling everyone you're fine while quietly wondering why you feel sad, flat, or like you've lost yourself since having your baby, you're in the right place.
Therapy with me is where that changes. Where you don't have to perform okay anymore. Where we work out what's actually going on, and help you feel like yourself again.
Does this sound like you?
I don't feel like myself anymore
I feel disconnected from my baby, or from who I used to be
I feel like a bad mum, even when I know deep down I'm not
I'm exhausted in a way sleep doesn't fix
I smile through the day and fall apart when no one's watching
I keep wondering why motherhood feels so much harder than I expected
I canāt stop thinking about my birth
I am constantly worrying that something bad will happen
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone, and you don't need a diagnosis or the right words to start.

I Help Mums Feel Like Themselves Again
-
Maybe you used to feel capable, certain, like you knew who you were. Now you second guess everything, from feeding choices to whether you're doing any of this right. That drop in confidence isn't a personality change. It's incredibly common, and it's something we can work on together.
-
Maybe bonding hasn't felt the way you expected. Maybe you feel like you're going through the motions, or watching your own life from a distance. This is more common than anyone tells you, and it doesn't mean you're a bad mum.
-
However your birth went, the way it made you feel matters. If you're still thinking about it, still avoiding certain memories, or still feel on edge because of it, that's worth taking seriously, whatever anyone else has told you.

Maybe your mind won't quiet down at night, even once the baby is finally asleep. Maybe you're checking things over and over, or waiting for something to go wrong. That exhausting, switched-on feeling has a name, and it responds well to therapy.
I'm Rachel, a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and IPTUK-accredited IPT therapist, and a mum of three myself.
